This morning I just wanted to remind you again the importance of trusting God in and with your everyday life. Not just trusting Him, but also believing His Word. There is no way possible to get through these days and times without God. You may think you got everything under control on your own but you don’t. That’s just another lie the devil has given you and you believed it.
Another important reminder in trusting and believing God. You first have to KNOW God, which means spending time with Him and having a close relationship with Him. Secondly, in order to believe Him, you will need to get in the Word and read and study. How are you going to know what to believe if you don’t read your Bible? This is so important in your daily Christian walk with the Lord and I can’t express it enough. God gave us all of the instructions and information we would need to walk this Christian journey with Him and the way He wanted us to. All we have to to do is to read our Bible and be obedient to His Word, it is just that simple.
I know that I am consistently posting about trusting and believing God. Why? Because that is the one thing we should be doing every single day, just like breathing. You don’t have to be reminded everyday to breath, you just automatically breath. This is how we should trust and believe God everyday. When you wake up every morning, your mind should automatically be on Jesus. Thanking Him and Praising Him before anything else. Especially thanking Him for allowing you to be a part of and to see another brand new day full of His grace and mercy, which is new every morning.
It is very essential that you stay connected to God, and not just some times but all times. I don’t even want to imagine what my life would be like without Him. That is a very scary thought and I don’t want to ever find out, especially in the world we live in today. God promised us that He would never leave us nor forsake us and all we have to do is acknowledge that by trusting and believing Him. He made it so easy for us, we are the ones that are making it so difficult. We can make time for everything else in this world, now make time for God.
So, just make sure to get before your Heavenly Father everyday and stay connected to Him everyday. There was a commercial about a credit card that said “don’t leave home without it”. Well, make sure you don’t ever leave home without Jesus. God Bless:)
Prayer
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Your Son and our Lord and Savior. Asking You, Jesus and the Holy Spirit to help us get in and stay in the Word. Reading and studying the Word and applying it to our lives as we follow after You. Give us that heart desire to want to know you more and be more obedient to Your Word. In Jesus name we pray. Amen
