During my Bible and devotional readings, I think about a lot of things that are going on in the world around us. Which led me to see what the Bible had to say about all of this chaos we are witnessing today. It was amazing at all of the scriptures that prophesy and warns us about the days that are upon us. This is why it is so important to read and study your Bible, then you will understand more of what is going on in the world. All of these events that are taking place right now are in the Bible. So, it should not be too much of a surprise to you when it happens. It’s just the Word of God being fulfilled at the times that He said it would happen.
2 Timothy 3:1-5 reads, “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!”
Luke 21:11 reads, “And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.”
Matthew 24:7 reads, “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.”
Matthew 24:6 reads, “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.”
Matthew 24:36 reads, “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.”
Matthew 24:44 reads, ” Therefore you also be ready, for the Son is coming at an hour you do not expect.”
Luke 21:36 reads, ” Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
Matthew 24:37 reads, “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”
So, the few scriptures that I shared with you points out the things that are happening in the world today. All of the signs are there, we are definitely living in the end times and Jesus is on His way back. Read your Bible and pay attention to the times. Watch and Pray. God Bless 🙂
Prayer
Heavenly Father, we come to You in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Your Son and our Lord and Savior. Giving You all of the the praise, honor and glory that belongs to You. Thanking You, Jesus and the Holy Spirit for all that You have done, all that You are doing and all that You will continue to do in the lives of Your children. Thanking You for not just what You do but for who You are in the lives of Your children. Help us to be and stay watchful for the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and to always live ready for His return. Amen
