What You Put In Will Come Out

Good Wednesday Afternoon Blog Family. Well, here we are again half way through the week. Praying everyone’s having a good week in the Lord. Looking forward to and expecting Him to do great things in you and through you the rest of the week. Praise God.

I have a question for you this afternoon. Have you ever just stopped in the middle of whatever you were doing and started praising and worshipping God? I asked that question, because I find myself doing it all through the day, all of the time. It doesn’t matter where I am or what I am doing, there is always praise and worship on my lips and coming out of my mouth to my Heavenly Father. I can honestly say my heart is full of praise and worship for Him, because that is what is constantly going in. Whatever you put into your heart is what is going to always come out. No matter if is it’s Godly or worldly, that is what is going to come out. The mouth is going to speak whatever you have filled your heart with. Luke 6:45 puts it this way, “A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.” So, there it is, straight from the Word of God.

All throughout the day, I find myself singing praise and worship songs that glorify God, I will thank God for something and it just continues on and on, I am constantly telling Him how much I love Him and how good He is. This doesn’t happen because I am reading my Bible all day 24/7, or on my knees all day in prayer or talking to Him the whole day. No, it is because that is what I am always putting in my heart, by reading the Word, reading my devotions, listening to good preaching and teaching, listening to praise and worship music. When I watch tv, listen to music or sit down to read a good book and not just the Bible. I try to choose things that I can learn from or that feeds my heart and mind good positive things that I can use later when needed. You don’t just pray when something is wrong, you pray all of the time even when things are going great. You don’t just read your Bible when you need a specific scripture, you read your Bible every day. You fill your heart with the Word and when it needs to come out, the Holy Spirit will see to it that it does, just when you need it.

When I get up every morning, I say my prayer to start my day, then I read my devotions. Sometimes I will listen to a praise and worship song to set that awesome mood and to get into His presence. During the day I will sit down and read some Bible and also read my book that I am reading. So, when my heart is full of all of this goodness, then when I am doing other things, all of the goodness will start to come out. My daughter asked my one day, why am I always humming a song when we are on the phone? Because that is what is in me and that is what comes out. You don’t even have to try, it just automatically comes out. Even when I am out just sitting on the patio, I find myself looking up toward the sky and singing a praise and worship song. When I am outside in the middle of God’s creation on a beautiful day, how can you not praise Him? I was getting ready for bed last night and I was singing a song and decided to listen to it as well. That turned into a whole entire Christian concert, lol. It started with one song and ended up being about 10 songs and it was amazing. I just started singing and praising God and this was right before I went to bed. It was truly an amazing time.

So, pay attention to what is coming out of your mouth when you speak. Is it something good or is it something evil. I am not saying that you have to quote scripture and sing praise and worship music every time you speak, just make sure it is something good. Your words should always edify and not tear down, always building up. So, stop trying to figure people out, just listen to what comes out of their mouths and listen to what is stored in their hearts. God is so good and He is good all of the time. It doesn’t matter what kind of day I am having, I always try to see God in everything. Because no matter what kind of day you are having, God is always speaking to you. God Bless 🙂
