What’s Your Story?

Happy Monday Everyone! Psalm 118:24 reads, “This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.” Amen, Amen and Amen.

When I was in search of a church home after we moved from the city to the country. God placed me in the this amazing little country church. He also put it on my heart to start a Women’s Ministry. I talked to my Pastor and First Lady and they thought it was a great idea. So, I began putting together a one day (Saturday) Women’s Retreat, which was the beginning of our yearly Women’s Retreat. As I was praying about a theme for this year, I was given, ” What’s Your Story?”

Then I thought, that would be a great topic for Monday’s Blog. So, what’s your story? Everyone has a story, good or bad. Meaning something amazing that God has done or is doing in your life. Maybe He delivered or set you free from something. Did He keep you from making a bad choice or decision about something you thought was good? Or maybe He kept you from making that mistake that could have put you in danger. What about that health issue that He healed you of? The bills that were paid when you had more bills than money. Let’s not forget about the groceries that mysteriously showed up at your front door when you had no food,

You do know that a lot of things that we go through are really not for us, but for someone else. I realized years ago that some of my stumbling blocks was for someone God was putting in my path to minister to. Someone that had or was going through that same thing. Now I was able to tell them my story and how God brought me through it. Letting them know that God could do the same thing for them if they allowed Him to.

Acts 10:34-35 reads, ” Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth Him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with Him.” Which means God shows no partiality, what He does for one He will do for another. So, what’s your story? Will your story help someone or bring someone to Jesus? Would you share your story if you knew it would help someone else. Think about it. God Bless πŸ™‚
