Good Tuesday Morning Blog Family. Praying all is well with all of you and your family and loved ones. Seeking God in all things and everything, being obedient and following His instructions, Thank You Jesus.
Can you remember a time that you were praying and asking God for something that you did not receive? Or maybe you were praying about a situation that did not turn out like you expected it to? Praying for that person to become your husband or wife and they just walked out of your life. Expecting to get that raise and promotion, but it went to your co-worker instead.
We have to understand that God knows things that we do not know and He sees things that we do not see. He knows what we need and what we do not need. He knows what is good for us and what is not good for us. God looks at things a lot deeper than we do and He looks at the long term, when we are looking at the right now. Just remember when and if God says no, there is a reason for it, you may not see it or even understand it. God knows.
God knows that person you are praying to be your husband or wife is not who He has for you. He knows that the promotion and raise you are praying for will only keep you away from Him and your family even more. Knowing those expensive toys you are praying about, you cannot afford them. God knows you and your childhood friend becoming business partners is a very bad idea and you will lose everything.
I was doing a little research and reading about what the Bible says about God saying no. So, I came across a reading from God Questions and it was so good, I decided to add it to my Blog in order to share with all of you. It reads, “It is often the seasons when God says “no” that we are forced to pursue God more earnestly. God’s “no’s” often shatter the tiny box in which we tried to keep Him and allow the real God to reveal Himself to us. He says “no” when it is part of His grander plan. He says “no” when our lack of faith indicates that we do not truly believe He is who He says He is (Hebrews 11:6). He says “no” when our requests are rooted in selfishness (James 4:3) or when a “yes” would harm us. And He says “no” when, like Paul, we must learn that His grace is sufficient for us. The biblical examples of servants of God who experienced God’s “no” help us learn the right response when God says “no” to us.” Wo, was that not good?
So, be thankful that a lot of times God’s answer is no. His no’s could be saving your life or saving you from a lifetime of trouble, heartache and pain. Be grateful that God loves you enough to not give you everything you ask for. He is looking out for your best interest, even when you are not. He always gives you what you need and sometimes what you want. God Bless 🙂
Prayer
Heavenly Father, we come to You this morning in the Mighty Name of Jesus with a thankful and grateful heart. Thank You so much for loving us enough to say “NO” to Your children. Sometimes our earthly Father’s will say yes to us, when actually they should be saying no. So, thank You for being who You are in the lives of Your children, even it we don’t understand your answers. You know what we need and don’t need, even when we think we know. We love You so much. Amen
