Good Wednesday Morning Blog Family. How’s everyone doing this beautiful October morning? It was 39 degrees here in New Mexico, plenty of bright sunshine and fresh crisp air. Praise God.
First, let me say I have really missed talking with all of you. I know there was a couple of weeks I wasn’t posting due to a lot going on and me being all over the place. Things are beginning to settle down a little bit and getting back to where we left off. So, I pray everyone has been doing great and staying before the Father. Because we cannot do this life without Him and I wouldn’t even want to try.
I have a question for you this morning, one that will make you think. Who brings your day? Do you get up every morning excited to see what God has planned for you or do you get up doing your on thing?
I was listening to one of my praise and worship songs and she said something that really stuck with me. She said, “I may not know what the day may bring, but I know who brings the day.” Now, that’s a pretty powerful word when you take a minute and think about it. Because when we wake up every morning, we ourselves do not know what our day will be like. We can think, plan and have things we have to do for that day, but only God knows what our day will be like. This is why it is so important to get with the Father, the One who brings the day to find out about your day and receive instructions for a blessed day in Him.
We need to first realize that God is the One that wakes us up every morning and blesses us with another day. So, why would you not consult the giver of your day to find out what He wants you to do and how He wants you to do it. It would be so much easier doing things His way instead of blindly and unknowingly doing things your way. Still having to come back to Him when your way doesn’t work out.
So remember, every morning when you open your eyes and wake up, it was not you just waking up nor your alarm clock. It was our Heavenly Father, the One who brings our days. When you think about it this way, “Thank You Father For Another Day,” should be the first words out of your mouth. God is good and He is faithful all of the time, everyday. Psalm 118:24 reads, “This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” God Bless 🙂
Prayer
Father God, we come to You in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Your Son and our Lord and Savior. Giving you all of the praise and glory that belongs to You. Thanking You for waking us up every morning and bringing our days filled with You and all You have for us. We love You so much. Amen
