Who Is Jesus To You?

Good Wednesday Morning Blog Family. How is everybody doing this morning? I pray your answer will be “Highly Favored and Blessed in the Lord.” Because that is definitely my answer this morning and every morning. Thank You Jesus.

Well, I have a question for you this morning. Who is Jesus to you? Good question, huh? Perhaps a question that will make you stop and think. Have you ever thought about all of the titles or names that come with Jesus. All of the things that He is able to do in you, through you and for you. He is whatever and whoever you need Him to be at the time that you need Him. That’s the beauty of Jesus and the love He has for each of us. Yes, He died on the cross for us and gave His life for us, but it doesn’t stop there. There is so much more to Him than you could ever imagine. But if you know Jesus, and you have given your life to Him and you have made Him your Lord and Savior, then you already know how awesome He is.

Sometimes we may get to a point in life when we don’t have anyone else to talk to, or no where else to go or nothing else we can do. That is usually the time that we will turn to Jesus because He is all you have. This is when you should realize He is all you need. There is nothing to hard for Him and there is nothing He can’t do. Your life may be too hard for you at times, but it is never too hard for Jesus. We need to start making him our first stop instead of our last. So just know, Jesus is all you need.

Psalm 46:1 reads, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble.” Psalm 91:7 reads, “A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.” Psalm 91:14-16 reads, “Because he loves Me, “says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges My name. He will call on Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him My salvation.” So, that pretty much says it all right there. If you are a child of God and you have made Jesus your Lord and Savior, these scriptures are promises to you from God. It doesn’t get any better than that. Jesus is and should be everything to you, your life.

We always think when we hear people talk about going to church and praying or talking about Jesus, that they are saved. That is not always true. So, just in case you don’t know the Lord in the way that you should, by giving your life to Him. I would like to give you the opportunity to make Him your Lord and Savior so you can experience all that I am talking about in this blog. Romans 10:9-10 reads, “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord, “and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” It is just that simple. So, if you have not taken this important step in your life, please do so now. You will be so glad you did. I promise.

Jesus has been my Lord and Savior for a very long time and I can say that is the best decision I ever made. I still have those days that things don’t always go as planned, but when I have those days. I am so thankful that I have Jesus to run to, because I know He is there to help me. He may not fix things or do things the way I would, but that’s ok, because His ways are always better than my ways. So, who is Jesus to me? He is my everything and I pray He is your everything too. God Bless 🙂

Prayer

Father God, we come to You in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Your Son and our Lord and Savior. Giving you all of the honor, praise and glory that belongs to You. Thanking You for what You do and for who You are to Your children. We thank You for giving us Your one and only Son to take our place on the Cross and to save us. Giving our lives to Jesus as our Lord and Savior is the best thing we could have ever done and we thank You. We are ever so grateful for all that You, Jesus and the Holy Spirit have done, still doing and will do in our everyday lives. Thank You and we love You so much. Amen
